How do you bake DAS Smart?
The clay is baked at a maximum temperature of 130° for a maximum time of 30 minutes.
The items can be baked multiple times to add new details. When the baking time is complete it is advisable to remove the items from the oven and wait until they cool down and stabilize before handling.

Is DAS Smart certified?
Yes, DAS Smart is certified by the ACMI, with the AP Seal for the US market.

DAS Smart is manufactured in Italy in the Tuscan town of Rufina, in the province of Florence.

How do you shape DAS Smart?
The clay has a compact texture making it easy to model. It is ideal for all modelling techniques applied for polymer clays (murrine, Skinner blend, mokume-gane, moulding, image transfer, etc.).

How do you start modelling with DAS Smart?   
As with all polymer clays, we recommend conditioning the clay well, so that it is soft and malleable before starting to shape it.

Recommendation: the DAS Smart range includes a dedicated product called DAS Smart Softener, which simplifies the conditioning process. Just a few drops are enough to rapidly soften the clay, quickly preparing it for creative modelling.

How many DAS Smart colours are available?
DAS Smart comes in 46 bright, lively colours. There are 34 base colours that can be mixed with each other; 4 metallic colours in gold, silver, bronze, and copper; 4 glitter colours in red, green, blue, and white; and 4 special effect colours in pearly white, opal white, phosphorescent white, and granite.

What formats does DAS Smart come in?
The complete range is available in practical double 57g packages that include 2 tablets of 28.5g in the ideal shape for quick conditioning in the clay machine, individually packaged to limit waste and simplify use.
The 10 most popular colours (white, warm yellow, flesh pink, pink, scarlet red, emerald, ocean blue, beige, caramel, and black) are also available in a maxi-format, precut in a re-closable 350g package.
Finally, there are 4 fashion sets containing 4 different colour palettes ready for modelling, each with 12 fashionable colours selected by colour design experts, in sticks of 27.5g, the ideal format for getting started.

DAS Smart can be freely modelled by hand but reaches its full potential with the use of some dedicated tools including an acrylic hammer with rings, a flexible blade, and professional modelling instruments, with four specific tips for each application.
The DAS Smart clay machine is the ideal instrument for simplifying and speeding up conditioning and shaping, and it can also apply various techniques, like Skinner blending. The extruder with its 20 disks and profiles is ideal for creating perfect, consistent, repeatable shapes. How do you paint DAS Smart?
